Student Apparel and Spirit Wear Shop

Lauren Reynolds, Senior DECA Student (Class of 2010), and Mercedes Rasmussen, Marketing Teacher

• $5,000 — Construct a shop at Shawnee Mission East near the gyms to allow DECA (Distributed Education Clubs of Americ) and other groups to sell their apparel, spirit wear and other goods.
• All SME students and families will enjoy availability of merchandise at the shop.
• This project will enhance learning in marketing classes by providing experience in retail management. (It also offers the convenience of one outlet for numerous school apparel and spirit items and a escond outlet for the various groups selling the items.)
