Large Format Photo Enlarger
Adam Finkelston, Photography Teacher
- $2,600 — Funding for the purchase of a large-format enlarger to make high quality prints from large format negatives.
- 300 students enrolled in photography each year will benefit.
- In 2007-2008, The East Fund granted monies for a large format camera that makes available historical processes (Van Dyke, cyanotype and salted prints). It encourages more of a fine arts (vs. commercial) approach to photography. The large-format enlargers that have been used to make prints with this camera are old and in poor condition. A much higher quality product will result with this enlarger.
Grant awarded December 2009
