Labquest Chemistry Technology
Steve Appier and Jeremy Higgins (Chemistry Teachers)
- $32,077 — Purchase 28 stations of high-tech chemistry data collection equipment to be used during lab time in two classrooms.
- Roughly 300 students taking Chemistry 1 or Chemistry 2 AP/IB each year will benefit. The equipment should last for several years.
- This equipment will give SME students experience with data collection equipment commonly used in the science and healthcare fields. The capabilities of this equipment will enhance overall comprehension of chemistry research and science. It is expected that it will also spark more interest in learning science.
