The Shawnee Mission East Education Excellence Fund—The East Fund—invites students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators to enhance learning and teaching at SME by submitting proposals for student programs, professional development, and technology. Application forms are available in The East Fund mailbox in the SME office or online at www.theeastfund.org. Proposals should be returned to The East Fund mailbox in the office or sent to Joan Beahm at jmbeahm@hotmail.com.

Board Meetings
The East Fund Board generally meets the last Wednesday of each month during the school year. Meetings are held in the conference room in the main office. To confirm the date, contact Lucy Tidwell (lucy@tidwellcompany.com).
